An English speaking chauffeur will meet you at the cruise ship and drive you to the petrified city of Pompeii, which was destroyed, and completely buried, during a long catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius spanning two days in AD 79. After you have visited the ruins you will be driven down the panoramic Amalfi coast to the town of Sorrento. The drive offers breathtaking views of the precipitous Amalfi-coast, and the driver will be obliged to stop along the way so you can take capture this spellbinding beauty on film.
